Welcome to Pigmenta! This Privacy Policy describes how Samyank Developer Studio ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application Pigmenta ("the App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2.1 Local Data Storage

Pigmenta stores the following data locally on your device:

• Color Analysis History: Records of colors you have analyzed, including hex codes, RGB values, and analysis timestamps
• Favorite Colors: Colors you have marked as favorites, including hex codes and saved timestamps
• App Settings: Your preferences including theme settings, language preferences, animation speed, UI density, and other customization options

Important: All this data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (Hive database). We do not transmit, upload, or sync this data to any external servers. Your color data remains private and under your control.

2.2 Camera and Photo Library Access

Pigmenta requests access to your device's camera and photo library only when you choose to extract colors from images. This feature allows you to:

• Take photos using your device's camera
• Select images from your photo library
• Extract color information from selected images

We do NOT:

• Store your photos or images
• Transmit your photos to external servers
• Share your photos with third parties
• Access your photos without your explicit permission

Images are processed entirely on your device. Only the extracted color information (hex codes, RGB values) is used for analysis, and this data is stored locally as described in section 2.1.

2.3 Advertising Data

Pigmenta uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements within the app. When you use our app, AdMob may automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• Advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID, iOS Identifier for Advertisers)
• App usage data (interactions with ads)
• Location data (general location based on IP address, if permitted)

You can opt-out of personalized advertising through your device settings:

3. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide Core Features: Enable color analysis, color mixing calculations, and color harmony suggestions
• To Save Your Preferences: Remember your favorite colors, analysis history, and app settings
• To Display Advertisements: Show relevant ads through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app
• To Improve the App: Understand how features are used to enhance user experience (through aggregated, anonymized data only)

4. Third-Party Services

Pigmenta uses the following third-party services:

You can view all your stored data directly within the app:

• View your color analysis history in the "Recent colors" section
• View your favorite colors in the "Favorites" section
• View and modify your app settings

6.2 Delete Your Data

You can delete your data at any time through the app:

• Clear History: Delete your color analysis history from the home screen
• Remove Favorites: Delete individual favorites or clear all favorites
• Uninstall the App: Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data

6.3 Control Permissions

You can control app permissions through your device settings:

• Camera Permission: Grant or revoke camera access
• Photo Library Permission: Grant or revoke photo library access
• Advertising: Opt-out of personalized ads (see section 2.3)

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device until you choose to delete it or uninstall the app. We do not retain any data on our servers, as all data is stored locally on your device.

8. Children's Privacy

Pigmenta is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
